Recap: Durham Trojans vs. Live Oak Lions
The Durham Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by Live Oak at home to the tune of 71-22. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Durham has managed all season.
Leading Durham to victory were Payton Santos and Clare Osbon. Santos scored 18 points, while Osbon scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Osbon scored 15 or more points. Lucy Pezzetti was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Durham has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Live Oak, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durham will take on Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Live Oak, they will head out on the road to take on East Nicolaus at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully East Nicolaus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Monday.
