It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hermon can now relate to. They fell just short of the Medomak Valley Panthers by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Braelyn Wilcox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hermon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikelle Verrill, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Hermon's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Medomak Valley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

As of now, neither Hermon nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
