Softball Recap: Sapulpa's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

There's no place like home for Sapulpa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats 6-4. The victory was some much needed relief for the Chieftains as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Sapulpa's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Chouteau-Mazie, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-7.

Coincidentally, Sapulpa and Chouteau-Mazie will both be playing Catoosa the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chieftains will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
