Softball Recap: Lanier Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peachtree Ridge, Lanier was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chattahoochee Cougars a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Longhorns' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Lanier's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Chattahoochee, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

Looking ahead, Lanier will challenge Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattahoochee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
