Rock Bridge dropped down to 4-3 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs by a score of 6-5. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 10-7 to the Monarchs when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Papillion-LaVista, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games.
