Soccer Recap: Hiram Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. Zion last Tuesday, Hiram came back down to earth. The Hiram Hornets came up short against the Cedartown Bulldogs on Friday, falling 6-1. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Hiram's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cedartown, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hiram will venture away from home to square off against Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cass will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hiram surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedartown, they will look to defend their home pitch on March 14th against Cartersville at 7:30 p.m.
