Eagle extended their postseason success on Friday against Mountain View. They came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Mavericks on Thursday, they had to take a 7-2 defeat.

Jacob Ames spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Kristian Fusco was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Caleb Zawadzki was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

The win made it two in a row for Eagle and bumps their season record up to 22-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-10.

Coming up, Eagle will face off against Owyhee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 3.8, the Storm 3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
