Despite the loss, Corcoran still got an impressive performance from Emilee Santos, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Abby Cutshall was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.

Even though they lost, Corcoran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. This was only their first loss (out of four games) when they hit their own glass that hard.

Roxana Fernandez was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with three steals for Arvin. Fernandez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Soto, who scored 15 points along with two steals.

Corcoran's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-9. As for Arvin, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-10.

Corcoran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arvin is on the road again on Friday and plays Santa Ynez at 6:00 p.m. on February 16th. One thing working in Arvin's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
