Football Recap: Caleb Feaster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chester over Fort Mill + How To Watch

Chester came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 35-14 to the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellow Jackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Chester lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caleb Feaster, who rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown. Hudhaifah Taylor helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.

Quinn Kelly had an outrageously good game for Fort Mill as he threw for 237 yards and four TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. That's the most passing yards Kelly has posted since back in September of 2024. Fort Mill's leading receiver Jameson Terrell was Kelly's top target yet again, picking up 86 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fort Mill, their record now sits at 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester will challenge Catawba Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Mill, they will take on Blythewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
