Soccer Recap: Hills Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against United Home Schoolers, Hills Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Young Americans Christian Eagles 2-1. This was a revenge game for Hills Academy: when they faced off against Young Americans Christian last Thursday, they had to take a 6-1 defeat.

Jahleel Carr-Smalls and Austin Thompson scored both of Hills Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Hills Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Young Americans Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Hills Academy has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Milledgeville Athletic Club on the 18th. As for Young Americans Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Scholars Guild Academy on the 14th.
