Softball Recap: Nevada Takes a Loss

Nevada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 19-0 to the East Marshall Mustangs. The Cubs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in July of 2024.

Nevada's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for East Marshall, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Nevada wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 defeat against Greene County on the 20th. As for East Marshall, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against South Tama County on the 20th.
