Recap: Sacramento Adventist Capitals vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks
After a string of three wins, the Sacramento Adventist Capitals's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty Ranch. Sacramento Adventist found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up seven fewer assists than your opponent.
Several Capitals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kyla Friedrich, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gwen Rosich, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
Leading Liberty Ranch to victory were Haley Smith and Madisyn Robbins. Smith scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds, while Robbins dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. The contest was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points. Summer Mccoy was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Sacramento Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Liberty Ranch, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Sacramento Adventist will be playing at home against Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Ranch will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Ponderosa at 3:30 p.m. on November 30th.
