Baseball Recap: Coastal HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Coastal HomeSchool fell victim to First Preparatory Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highlanders. The Hurricanes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Coastal HomeSchool is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10. As for First Preparatory Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12.

Coming up, Coastal HomeSchool will take on John Paul II at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Warrriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for First Preparatory Christian Academy, they will host Citizens Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Highlanders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
