Gage Olson of Ashby ran for the longest rushing play in Pheasant - North (9 Man) this season against Bertha-Hewitt last week. Olson's team defeated the Bears as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 92 in all.

Blake Ohren and Olson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bertha-Hewitt. The connection was good for 87 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.

Sean McGuire made the biggest impact on defense this week as Hillcrest Lutheran Academy lost to Underwood. He forced 1 fumble and racked up 1 sack.

Ohren was a passing and rushing force as Ashby bested Rick Harig's team. He completed 7 passes for 169 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 137 yards. Ohren's favorite target this week was Olson, who caught 4 passes for 153 yards.

Jacob Isaac threw for 298 yards and 4 touchdowns. He went 15-28 with 2 interceptions.

Daniel Nersten was the best wideout in the league this week as the Comets lost to the Rockets. Nersten racked up 5 receptions for 151 yards. Evan Newman helped Hillcrest Lutheran Academy's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 93 yards.

Leading Pheasant - North (9 Man) in both passing and receiving yards, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy's Isaac and Nersten have proven to be a lethal combination. Isaac has thrown for 1,439 yards this season, while Nersten has 28 catches for 419 yards. Jeffrey Risbrudt's team's Hunter Fick leads the league in rushing yards with 452.

The Arrows and the Bears played the most contested game in the league this week, with the Arrows eventually emerging with a 42-36 victory. Ohren ran for 137 yards in the win.
