Softball Recap: Bloomingdale Beats Bartow for Their Third Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and Bloomingdale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Bartow Yellow Jackets by a score of 6-2 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Bulls, who have now won three matches in a row.

Natalie Cable spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 19 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ashlee Singer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Olivia Anderson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Bloomingdale's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Bartow, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8.

As of now, neither Bloomingdale nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
