Basketball Recap: Victoria Hernandez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Campbell Hall over Crossroads

Campbell Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Crossroads Roadrunners on the road by a 70-55 margin. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roadrunners apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Victoria Hernandez, who went 9 of 14 en route to 21 points. Hernandez is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Crosley, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 14 points.

Campbell Hall's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Crossroads, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Campbell Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-45 defeat against Windward on the 23rd. Crossroads has also already played their next contest, an 80-33 loss against Brentwood School on the 22nd.
