Savanna hadn't done well against Anaheim recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Savanna Rebels took down the Anaheim Colonists 42-24. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Anaheim lost, don't look at Melody Cortes. Despite the final result, she posted eight points.

Savanna has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Anaheim, they moved to 12-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Savanna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-35 win against Magnolia on the 4th. Anaheim has also already played their next contest, a 73-33 victory against Estancia on the 4th.
