Highland Springs had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Indian River Braves to the tune of 35-8 on Saturday. Considering the Springers have won six games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Highland Springs' fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average over those games. As for Indian River, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Coming up, Highland Springs will face off against Maury at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Springers will need to watch out since the Commodores have now posted at least 31 points in their last 12 matchups. Indian River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
