Baseball Game Preview: East Hall Vikings vs. Jefferson Dragons

East Hall is 1-8 against Jefferson since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Vikings will host the Dragons at 6:00 p.m. East Hall will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

On Friday, East Hall didn't have quite enough to beat West Hall and fell 12-11.

Jackson Bambarger made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of East Hall's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 4-11 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Jamyus Demory, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Jefferson waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Purple Hurricanes 14-4.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for East Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

East Hall suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Jefferson in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
