Basketball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were beaten by the McClatchy Lions 75-10. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 93-31 back in January.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for McClatchy, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova has already played their next contest (against Antelope), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McClatchy is taking a road trip to face off against Acalanes at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Acalanes' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
