With a playoff win on the line, Jackson County rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Glynn Academy Terrors 50-7. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Daylan Maxwell had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 116 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. He has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last eight times he's played.

Jackson County's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Glynn Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

Coming up, Jackson County will host Milton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. Glynn Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
