Sierra is 8-0-2 against Central Catholic since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Sierra Timberwolves will host the Central Catholic Raiders at 6:15 p.m. Sierra knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Central Catholic likes a good challenge.

Central Catholic better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Sierra really get things going. Sierra put the hurt on Mountain House with a sharp 6-2 win on Friday. Considering the Timberwolves have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mountain House with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hailey Cruz (2), Zoe Sutton (2), Leslie Reyes, and Mikaela Delgado.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Central Catholic's offense. They fell just short of Manteca by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Raiders have struggled against the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Sierra has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six contests. As for Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Sierra beat Central Catholic 4-2 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Does Sierra have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Catholic turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
