It was a good run, but Perry unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Jackson Polar Bears, falling 66-37. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Jackson, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perry will face off against rival Hoover at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Jackson is set to square off against their familiar foe McKinley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
