Basketball Recap: San Marin Extends Winning Streak to Five

San Marin won the last time they faced Rodriguez and things went their way on Friday too. The San Marin Mustangs put the hurt on the Rodriguez Mustangs with a sharp 46-24 victory. San Marin has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was San Marin's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Rodriguez, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Marin won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vallejo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
