Mount Paran Christian came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Mount Vernon Mustangs as they made off with a 13-1 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by eight runs or more this season.

Mount Paran Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Mount Vernon, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-3.

Mount Paran Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Vernon, they will welcome Blessed Trinity at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
