Softball Recap: Burke County Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Burke County and Crisp County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Burke County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 18-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Burke County's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Crisp County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Burke County by a score of 16-1 later that day.
