Soccer Recap: Gilroy Takes a Loss

Gilroy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Pioneer. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Gilroy couldn't quite close it out.

Gilroy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Gilroy nor Pioneer have any future games scheduled.
