Tohatchi is 9-1 against Wingate since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will host the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Wingate took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tohatchi, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Tohatchi got the win against Newcomb by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tohatchi took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Wingate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Navajo Prep, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-9.

Tohatchi is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Wingate, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.

Everything went Tohatchi's way against Wingate when the teams last played on October 11th, as Tohatchi made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
