La Quinta extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Katelyn Vo. The La Quinta Aztecs really took it to the Santiago Cavaliers for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-12 victory thanks in part to Vo, who posted ten points along with six assists and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

Chloe Luong was another key player, putting up nine points. Those nine points gave her a new career-high.

La Quinta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Santiago, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

La Quinta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 46-25 win against Bolsa Grande on the 20th. As for Santiago, they will be taking part in a tournament against Woodbridge at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Santiago is facing Woodbridge at the right time seeing as Woodbridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
