Desert Christian had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Desert Christian was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-10.

Leading Desert Christian to victory were Aliah Sanchez and Abby Numer. Sanchez had eight digs and two assists, while Numer hit 55.6% for five kills and 27 assists and seven digs. The last time Numer's hitting percentage was this high was back in September.

Desert Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

Desert Christian's record is now 24-8. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Desert Christian is taking a road trip to square off against St. Augustine Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, they will host San Carlos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
