Softball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Cherokee and Paulding County squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Cherokee had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 7-6. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 8-1.

Cherokee's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 20-11. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Paulding County, their record is now 16-13.

As of now, neither Cherokee nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
