Softball Recap: Brantley County Takes a Loss

Brantley County is still winless after their contest against Thomasville on Thursday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bulldogs. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Herons who fell 3-1 when the teams previously met back in October of 2024.

Brantley County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Thomasville, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

While Brantley County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
