Basketball Recap: Vista del Lago Takes a Loss

Vista del Lago lost against Perris back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vista del Lago Ravens received a blow as they fell 49-30 to the Perris Panthers. The Ravens just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Perris' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from E'Niece Ray, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ray is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carina Castaneda, who went 7 for 16 en route to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals.

Vista del Lago's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Perris, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Vista del Lago didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-24 defeat against Lakeside on the 23rd. As for Perris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 42-31 loss against Hillcrest on the 23rd.
