Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Gadsden + Official Tickets

The Centennial Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Gadsden Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Centennial needed a bit of extra time to put away Mayfield. They won by a goal and slipped past the Trojans 2-1. That's two games straight that Centennial have won by just one goal.

Mario Salinas and Oscar Pedroza scored both of Centennial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Gadsden waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Bulldawgs as they made off with a 4-1 win. Considering Gadsden have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gadsden's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-2.

Centennial suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Gadsden in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
