Soccer Game Preview: Calabasas vs. Pacifica Christian/Orange County

The Calabasas Coyotes will take on the Pacifica Christian/Orange County Tritons in a holiday battle at at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Calabasas' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They skirted past Louisville 1-0. The result kept the Coyotes happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 6th.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ella Palmer, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Pacifica Christian/Orange County won against Temple City on Saturday with five goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Pacifica Christian/Orange County put the hurt on Waldorf with a sharp 5-0 win. The Tritons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by five goals or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pacifica Christian/Orange County and bumps their season record up to 8-2-1. As for Calabasas, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-4.

Calabasas was able to grind out a solid victory over Pacifica Christian/Orange County in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 2-0.
