Soccer Recap: American Comes Up Short

American and Petaluma squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but American had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Petaluma Trojans by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

American's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Petaluma, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

As of now, neither American nor Petaluma have any future games scheduled.
