Lake Oconee Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Dooly County Bobcats on Tuesday as they made off with an 8-1 victory. Considering Lake Oconee Academy have won 13 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Dooly County from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Leonardo Inostrosa led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Lake Oconee Academy pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Dooly County, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.

Looking ahead, Lake Oconee Academy will challenge Trion on Friday. Trion will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Lake Oconee Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Dooly County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
