Alexander Central has gone a perfect 4-0 against McDowell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Titans at 7:30 p.m. Alexander Central has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while McDowell will come in with four straight victories.

Alexander Central's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against St. Stephens on Friday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 21-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDowell). They enjoyed a cozy 60-42 win over South Caldwell on Friday.

Alexander Central better keep an eye on Danny Charles Brown. He was instrumental in McDowell's win, throwing for 386 yards and six TDs while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 98 yards on only 12 carries. Those 386 passing yards gave Charles Brown a new career-high. Isael Trejo was Charles Brown's top target, picking up 153 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Alexander Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for McDowell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
