Basketball Recap: Shade Takes a Loss

Shade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 59-47 to the Somerset Eagles.

Eve Housley went supernova for Somerset, putting up 37 points. Housley's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Shade's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Somerset, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shade will venture away from home to square off against Fannett Metal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerset, they are taking a road trip to take on Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
