Baseball Recap: Lakeside Wins Going Away Against Shiloh

Lakeside was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Shiloh on Tuesday. Everything went the Lakeside Vikings' way against the Shiloh Generals as the Lakeside Vikings made off with a 10-3 victory. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Anderson Easom looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Grant Jackson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Jayden Mosley was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lakeside's record is now 8-3. As for Shiloh, they moved to 5-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lakeside will have a chance to go back-to-back against Shiloh: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
