Baseball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Argo Argonauts

Reavis is a perfect 10-0 against Argo since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will host the Argonauts at 4:30 p.m. Reavis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Reavis narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Shepard 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Astros: they've now won nine in a row.

Jonathan Liesen was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Blake Stefanek was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Argo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 21-0 to Lemont.

Argo's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Reavis, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.

Argo's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Reavis has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .431. It's a different story for Argo, though, as they've only averaged .351. Will they be able to contain Reavis' hitters?

Reavis skirted past Argo 5-4 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Argonauts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
