Softball Recap: Clarinda Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Clarinda waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let East Mills get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Cardinals have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarinda's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for East Mills, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, Clarinda will be playing in front of their home fans against Denison-Schleswig at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Mills, they will head out to square off against Essex at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. East Mills are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
