Basketball Recap: Granite Hills Skates Past Laton with Ease

Granite Hills won against Riverdale last Tuesday with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Granite Hills Grizzlies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Laton Mustangs 46-17. That's more bragging rights for the Grizzlies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Laton still got an impressive performance from Gabriella Alvarado, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Alvarado is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Granite Hills and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Laton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Granite Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against McFarland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Laton, they will venture away from home to take on Fresno Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
