Roswell has gone 9-1 against Goddard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Coyotes will face off against the Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Goddard took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Roswell, who comes in off a win.

Roswell barely beat Mayfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Coyotes simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Trojans 52-21. The Coyotes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 31 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Goddard faced Artesia in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rockets took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Roswell has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for Goddard, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Roswell against Goddard when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 27-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Coyotes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
