Softball Recap: Calvary Day Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Calvary Day had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 12-0 to the Toombs County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 13-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Toombs County now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Calvary Day will venture away from home to square off against Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Cavaliers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Toombs County, they will welcome West Laurens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
