Football Game Recap: Highland Park vs. Mound-Westonka

Mound-Westonka had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Highland Park on Thursday as they made off with a 48-14 win. That result is just more of the same for Mound-Westonka, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Mound-Westonka a 1-0 record and starting Highland Park off at 0-1.

Mound-Westonka will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Johnson at 7:00 PM. Highland Park will look to defend their home turf next week against Fridley at 6:00 PM.
