Football Recap: Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Takes a Loss

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool, falling 28-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunder of the 43-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle is set to face off against their familiar foe Maple Lake/Holy Spirit Academy/Aasen HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool will take on rival West Central Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
