Basketball Game Preview: Don Lugo Conquistadores vs. San Marino Titans

Having just played yesterday, the Don Lugo Conquistadores will jump right back in to play the San Marino Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Marino took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Don Lugo, who comes in off a win.

Don Lugo took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 37-12 margin over Workman.

Don Lugo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sienna Robles led the charge by putting up six points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Maya Hodges, who posted six points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, San Marino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of United Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Eagles are ranked 202nd).

San Marino's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Don Lugo, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
