Soccer Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus lost against Dike-New Hartford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sailors came up short against the Wolverines, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that Columbus have lost by exactly five goals.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dike-New Hartford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat against Grundy Center on the 14th. Dike-New Hartford has also already played their next contest (against Postville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
