Softball Game Preview: South O'Brien Wolverines vs. Harris-Lake Park Wolves

South O'Brien is 9-1 against Harris-Lake Park since June of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will take on the Wolves at 5:30 p.m. South O'Brien will be strutting in after a win while Harris-Lake Park will be coming in after a defeat.

South O'Brien took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over George-Little Rock. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Harris-Lake Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against Hinton, falling 27-5.

South O'Brien's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Harris-Lake Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

South O'Brien took their victory against Harris-Lake Park in their previous matchup last Thursday by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
